Passport and Visa
To enter Portugal, you may need a Passport and/or a Visa, depending on the country you live in. Citizens from the European Community don’t need a Visa for entering Portugal. Portugal is also a signatory to the 1995 Schengen Agreement.
Passports must be valid for up to six months (depending on your nationality) and are required by all, except by European Union nationals and nationals of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Malta, Norway and Switzerland holding valid national ID cards. British, Australian, Canadian, American and Japanese need a valid passport.

TRAVEL BY PLANE
With an annual traffic of more than 6 million passengers, Porto Airport was judged the 3rd Best European Airport in 2011 by the ACI (Airport Council International), its 7th award in 6 consecutive years.
Plan your flight in order to minimize delays and make your passage through the airport a pleasing moment. In case of doubt or for further information, always contact your airline company.
From the Airport to Braga:
Transfer: You have several options on a daily basis. It’s a non-stop transport and leaves directly from the airport.
Cost: € 8.– one-way, € 14.- return ticket. Duration: approx. 45-50 min.
Train: To catch a train to Braga you need to go to the City Centre – Estação de São Bento and Estação da Campanhã. The urban railway leaves every 40/45 min.
Cost: around € 4– one-way. Duration: approx. 50min to 1h15min.
Taxi: You can take a taxi do INL (price around 60€).
By car: A3 and A11 – Follow the direction of Braga Sul, follow directions to “University of Minho” or Melia Hotel.
There is free car parking in front of INL for attendees and exhibitors.

Braga Main Station offers all those services that make your stay in Braga as comfortable as possible. From Braga Main Railway Station you reach the City Center in 3 minutes.
You can take a taxi to INL (around 6€).
You can take Bus Nº2 with the name Bom Jesus and Nº43 with the name Minho University (price around 1.55€)
